MHP Deputy Chairman Yönter responds to CHP leader Özel: 'Silly, we are going to have a lot of fun with you'

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli had canceled today's TBMM Group Meeting and held a press conference instead.

At the press conference, Bahçeli opened his 'black-bound notebook' and spoke about 154 people—including journalists, academics, politicians, and former police officers—who have been monitored by the MHP and whose names have appeared in the media.

Bahçeli stated, "Some circles have made very great injustices, slanders, lies, disparagements, and accusations against the MHP throughout 2024. The total number of these is 154 people.

The list you see here is the total of who spoke with whom, on which day, at what time, in which program, and what insults they directed at the MHP. This file is in our possession. When the day comes, this file will be put into action. The action will be of a legal nature," he said.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, in his response to Bahçeli, pointed to MHP Deputy Chairmen İzzet Ulvi Yönter and Semih Yalçın, whom he had alluded to in the past.

Özel said, "I would like to say something to Mr. Devlet. Those two, those two that the entire organization is fed up with... I am aware of the discomfort regarding their position in the party. Those two wrote a list of 154 names. Mr. Bahçeli, if there is going to be a reckoning, you should first reckon with your own conscience."

Sharing on his X account, Yönter responded to Özel. Yönter said the following:
