MHP's Ersoy submits parliamentary question to Minister Uraloğlu regarding 'collapsed road': Brings issue to the TBMM agenda

Submitting a written parliamentary question for Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu to answer, Ersoy drew attention to the grievances experienced by citizens and regional producers due to the road, which has been closed to traffic for approximately two months. The motion requested information regarding the current status of the work being carried out on the section of the road closed due to the collapse, the project and implementation schedule prepared in line with the completed technical examinations, plans for reopening the road to traffic before the start of the harvest season, and measures planned for alternative routes.

Stating that the local population is experiencing difficulties in transportation and that alternative routes are insufficient, especially for heavy-tonnage vehicles, Ersoy pointed out that with the approach of the harvest season, producers may face problems in transporting their products to the market and to the Turkish Grain Board (TMO).

Sharing on his social media, Ersoy included the following statements;

"We have brought the Felahiye-Kayseri road, which has been closed for approximately two months due to the road collapse in the Felahiye Obruk locality, to the agenda of the TBMM. In the parliamentary question we submitted for our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Mr. Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, to answer, we asked about the process of reopening the road to traffic, the latest status of the work, and the plans before the harvest season. We will continue to follow up on the demands of our Kayseri and our fellow citizens."
