'Cocaine' statement from the MHP front! 'In every political party...'
The Türkgün newspaper, which is close to the MHP, made a statement regarding the cocaine packages bearing the MHP emblem, saying, "In every political party and ideological structure, there may be immoral people, fixers, bribe-takers, or those who exploit their identity and title."

In an operation carried out in Bulgaria on July 18, 205 kilograms and 940 grams of cocaine were found in a vehicle with diplomatic license plates that was preparing to cross through the Kapıkule Border Gate.
In the images shared by the Bulgarian Customs Agency, it was noted that some of the drug packages featured the three crescents, the symbol of the MHP.
Following the operation, a statement regarding the incident, which became a major topic of discussion, came from MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's chief advisor, Yıldıray Çiçek.
In his column in the Türkgün newspaper, Çiçek targeted the media outlets that reported on the issue and made the following remarks:
"The effort by the left-wing media and trolls to distort this incident in Bulgaria and smear the MHP and the Nationalist community is just another example of their habitual hypocrisy. Yet, haven't similar incidents targeted their own ideologies and the structures they support many times in the past? They think they are very clever, and that everyone else is blind and the world is foolish."
Çiçek continued his words as follows:
"In every political party and ideological structure, there may be immoral people, fixers, bribe-takers, or those who exploit their identity and title. However, this cannot be equated with a party's program or charter; it is the personal immorality and crime of the perpetrator."
Concluding his article with harsh expressions, Çiçek used the following words:
"Of course, examples of such abuse of titles can be found in the AK Party, the MHP, and other parties as well. However, to associate the three-crescent symbol with a deliberate conspiracy over the incident in Bulgaria and to generalize and smear the MHP and the Nationalist Movement is sheer dishonor. While the principled stance that MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli has displayed for years against those who exploit the three-crescent symbol is clear, the left-wing media's generalization based on this incident is a vomit of their black-propaganda-obsessed, fixated, and sick ideologies. They have been vomiting for years, but they can never tarnish the three crescents..."
