Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter made a noteworthy post on his social media account.
Yönter shared photos of Emre Yüksel and Tolgahan Demirbaş, who were convicted in the trial concerning the murder of former Ülkü Ocakları President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Ateş, who was the victim of an assassination.
In his post, Yönter stated, "If the oppressed are convicted, justice sinks to the bottom of the earth... Justice will certainly be served, and the innocent will one day be reunited with their freedom..."

In the Sinan Ateş case, the court had reached a verdict regarding Emre Yüksel, who served as the Chief of Staff and assistant to Ülkü Ocakları President Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, and Tolgahan Demirbaş, who previously held an executive position within the Ülkü Ocakları.
As a result of the trial, Tolgahan Demirbaş, who was tried on charges of "inciting a crime," was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment for "inciting premeditated murder." Emre Yüksel was sentenced to 18 years in prison for "aiding in premeditated murder."
