Reacting to the European Parliament's Turkey report, MHP Deputy Chairman and Kayseri MP İsmail Özdemir stated that all the claims in the report were far from objective.

Noting that the efforts of circles who think they can hinder Turkey's stability and rise through the published draft report are in vain, Özdemir said in his statement: "All the statements contained in the draft report on Turkey published by the European Parliament are far from objective, baseless, and intentional.

The report, which addresses Turkey with a distorted perspective, has no aspect that aligns with the realities of Turkey, nor does it coincide with the realities that the European Union and Europe are forced to face in the current period.

The efforts of those who have come under the influence of certain sinister lobbies and who use institutions to poison the European Union with their own anti-Turkey agendas actually aim to damage the cooperation opportunities that Europe wants to establish with Turkey.

For this reason, the main target of the so-called report is not Turkey, but directly the European Union and the interests of the union.

Targeting Turkey, which has reached a valuable position by defending peace and stability and assuming significant responsibilities at both regional and global levels regarding the validity of international law, with the report in question also contradicts the values that Europe claims to possess.

Those who think they can hinder Turkey's stability and rise through the published draft report are striving in vain, adding a new one to their hopeless cases," he said.
