MHP issues May 4 reminder to terrorist organization PKK
Speaking on the call for terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan to lay down arms and dissolve the organization, MHP's İzzet Ulvi Yönter said, "We expect the PKK terrorist organization to convene its congress, lay down its arms, and dissolve the organization in the first week of May. Our Chairman had announced this date as May 4."

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter attended the MHP Istanbul 1st District Consultation Meeting for District Chairs, District Women's Branch Chairs, and Ülkü Ocakları District Chairs, held at the SGK Üsküdar Social Facility and Training Center.
Yönter spoke there regarding the new resolution process initiated by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, which the government has named a 'Terror-Free Turkey'.
"Nationalists are magnificent and embodied people of honor and cause. Nationalists are ready to sacrifice their loved ones, their own lives, and their souls for their homeland, nation, destiny, and sacred values. We are aiming to open a page without terror in the Turkish and Turkish Century. We are on the eve of completely removing terror from our lives.
The goal of a terror-free Turkey is progressing step by step. I believe that with a terror-free Turkey, the Turkish nation will become an influential power on both a global and regional scale in the second century of the Republic. We aim to be a country that is listened to, not one that looks to the mouths of others. We desire to be a country that is constantly sought after, not one that seeks fortune and future in power centers.
When we remove terror from our lives, no evil center, no occupying circle before us will be able to hold, hinder, or get in front of Turkey. We want what we deserve. The peace we deserve, the prosperity we deserve, the development we deserve. These are our rights, and we want our rights."
MAY 4 REMINDER TO TERRORIST ORGANIZATION PKK
Continuing his speech, Yönter addressed the call for terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan to lay down arms and dissolve the organization, stating, "We are moving toward the destination step by step with firm, healthy, and patient steps, God willing. We expect the PKK terrorist organization to convene its congress, lay down its arms, and dissolve the organization in the first week of May.
Our Chairman had announced this date as May 4. The People's Alliance will build a terror-free Turkey with God's permission. We will succeed, we will do it, we will do it in unity of power. There is no need for demagoguery. There is no need to be swayed by the provocations of this or that person. Those whose name is 'Victory' (Zafer) but whose true meaning is defeat should mind their own business. No one can compete with Devlet Bahçeli when it comes to love for the homeland and nation. Everyone will know their limits, their place, and their home.
It is easy to rant from the parliamentary group podiums, it is easy to play to the gallery. It is Devlet Bahçeli who represents the conscience of Turkishness. Those who ran away from us did not leave for the cause but for seats; they returned and surrendered here and there. While we are fighting to solve terror at its root, these gentlemen are busy exploiting this issue," he said.
HOW IS BAHÇELİ'S HEALTH?
Yönter gave the following response to a question regarding Bahçeli's health status:
"Our Chairman has been on duty from the very beginning. Thank God, our leader is as healthy and standing as to make his enemies jealous."
Yönter also conveyed his get-well wishes to Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and DEM Party Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder.
