MHP deputy among those with fake diplomas: Journalist Fatih Ergin reveals

The investigation into fake e-signatures and diplomas, centered in Ankara, has reached its final stage. A lawsuit has been filed against 65 defendants identified as part of an organized structure. Prison sentences ranging from 5 to 50 years are being sought for the defendants, who were found to have issued hundreds of fake diplomas by gaining unauthorized access to public institution systems.

The fake diplomas were priced between 250 thousand TL and 2.5 million TL, with some payments made via cryptocurrency. According to the defendants' testimonies, at least 400 academics were irregularly appointed to universities using this method.

It has been reported that there are individuals who obtained the titles of associate professor and professor with fake documents, and that academic promotions were accelerated through grade manipulation. Among the fake graduates are engineers, teachers, psychological counselors, legal professionals, and pharmacists.

MHP DEPUTY WITH A FAKE DIPLOMA

While allegations regarding fake diplomas remain on the agenda, a striking claim was made by journalist Fatih Ergin. Ergin stated that MHP Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal is also among those with fake diplomas.

In the message he posted, Ergin used the following expressions:

"Among those with fake diplomas is also MHP Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal, whom I previously exposed for providing a fake Vakıfbank letter of guarantee to a creditor for a 45 million Euro loan he was to receive from Switzerland... Will his diploma be canceled?"
