MHP's Yıldız: Regulations are needed in the Turkish Penal Code and the Anti-Terror Law
MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız has sent a message that the "climate of peace" must be protected against external shocks regarding the government's "Terror-Free Turkey" process, which is referred to in the public as the "solution process."

Yıldız stated, "It is certain that in this process, there is a need for some regulations, primarily in the execution legislation, the Criminal Procedure Code, the Turkish Penal Code, and the Anti-Terror Law.
Justice is not only punitive but also restorative. The humanitarian, social, and psychological destruction caused by terrorism is being repaired by the Turkish State," he said.
MHP's Yıldız made statements regarding the "Terror-Free Turkey" process on his social media account.
Yıldız said, "Examples around the world show that sometimes collective renunciation of punishment is necessary for peace and social harmony, and sometimes, even for lasting peace, the punishment of perpetrators is preferred in order to protect the sense of social justice. Turkey has also continued to seek a balance in this dilemma throughout its own experiences," he said.

"Terror is an important weapon in the hands of states, non-state actors, and individuals who want to increase their power and sovereignty. The new type of terror, with its hybrid and asymmetric features capable of rapid reaction, is a scourge for humanity as a 'new method of warfare'.

In the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, which is locked onto the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey, we listen to the views and suggestions of almost every professional group, different segments of society, academics, labor and employer organizations, Bar Associations, professional chambers, and religious groups, sometimes in a question-and-answer format, and most of the time in the form of presenting an academic thesis.
The widest possible participation is ensured in terms of diversity.
The rich knowledge accumulated in the Commission will form an important resource in establishing the basis for a draft law. With the exception of one party, all political parties that have a group and representation in the Grand National Assembly have provided members to the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission.
The representation rate of society is over 90%. The process is different from examples in the world, as well as from the processes tried in our country at various times, and it has an atypical structure.

As a nation, our independence is determined by our will to live together in peace and brotherhood under the guarantee of law. The Republic of Turkey is at a historic crossroads on the path to finding a final solution to the terror problem that has lasted for half a century.
The climate of peace built internally must be protected against external shocks. Ultimately, this historic opportunity will only achieve full success with social consensus, an established sense of justice, and a common vision for the future.
