Police teams in Gaziantep have conducted an operation as part of efforts to combat migrant smuggling. In the operation carried out under the coordination of the Gaziantep Provincial Police Department and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 5 suspects were detained following searches conducted at border crossings.
During searches conducted at the suspects' addresses, a large amount of foreign currency and Turkish Lira, as well as passports belonging to other individuals, were found. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the 5 apprehended suspects.
