Mika Raun released from prison, shares first message

Social media influencer Mikail Can Kurnaz, known as Mika Raun, who was arrested on January 31, 2026, as part of a "narcotics and prostitution" investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has announced her release. Following positive results from samples provided to the Council of Forensic Medicine during the investigation process, Raun had spent approximately three months in prison.

In a message shared on her social media account, Mika Raun expressed her joy at being reunited with her home and family after the difficult period she endured. The influencer's statement was as follows: "I wanted to say 'hello' to you. I wanted to tell you that I am doing well. Because there were so many messages. I am at home, thank God, I am with my family. As you know, I haven't been here for a long time. I went through a difficult period in my life. I had to stay away for a while. This process taught me a lot. I pulled myself together, listened, and thought. Thank God I am very well now. I am with you now. I am intending for new beginnings."
