Milli Yol Party Deputy Chairman attacked with a knife!

Milli Yol Party Deputy Chairman and former MHP district head Cengizhan Sancar was attacked with a knife yesterday evening. One person has been taken into custody following the attack. 

According to the report in Sözcü, Cengizhan Sancar, who lives in the Bodrum district of Muğla, was walking home in the Kumbahçe neighborhood in the district center yesterday evening when he saw someone kicking the neighborhood's electrical transformer and trying to break its door. Sancar reacted by saying, "What are you doing, brother, isn't that shameful?"

The verbal argument between the two turned into a fight. The attacker pulled a knife from the bag he was carrying and attacked Sancar. He then fled the scene. 

Sancar, who escaped the attack without injury by chance, filed a complaint with the District Police Department. The police caught and detained the person who carried out the attack. It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and the individual will be referred to the courthouse after their statement is taken.
