Minibus carrying agricultural workers crashes into a pole in Şanlıurfa
In a traffic accident that occurred in the Birecik district in the evening, 15 workers were injured when a minibus carrying agricultural workers returning from the fields lost control and crashed into a City Security Management System (KGYS) pole.

A minibus traveling from Şanlıurfa towards Birecik, carrying mostly female agricultural workers, crashed into a City Security Management System (KGYS) pole on the median after the driver lost steering control on the TOKİ connecting road. The identity of the driver of the vehicle with license plate 02 AND 456 has not yet been determined.
As a result of the accident, 15 workers in the vehicle sustained injuries of varying severity. The injured, who were inside the minibus that swerved due to the impact, managed to exit the vehicle on their own. Upon notification by citizens who witnessed the incident, police, fire, and medical teams arrived at the scene of the accident in a short time.
After the initial intervention was performed on the injured at the scene by medical teams, they were transported to Birecik State Hospital by ambulances in the area and taken under treatment. No statement has been made regarding whether the injured are in life-threatening condition.
Following the accident, security measures were taken in the area where the incident occurred, and authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the crash.
