Minibus overturns in Isparta: 1 dead, 8 injured!

A minibus overturned in Isparta after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. 1 person died and 8 people, including 2 children, were injured in the accident.

The accident occurred on the Eğirdir-Isparta highway.

According to the information obtained, the minibus with license plate 34 GVZ 987, driven by M.T. (53) and traveling from Sevinçbey village in the direction of Isparta, overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The driver and passengers Y.T. (49), S.T. (20), Ç.P.D. (9), M.D. (31), G.D. (29), İ.D. (7), G.H.T. (22), and Melek Demiraslan (64) were injured in the accident.

Upon notification, numerous health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured were taken to hospitals after receiving initial intervention from medical teams.

Demiraslan, who was taken to the hospital in critical condition, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost her life.

It was learned that among the injured, Y.T. was transferred to Süleyman Demirel University Hospital and İ.D. was transferred to Isparta City Hospital.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
