Mining Crimes Investigation Bureau established in Zonguldak

A "Mining Crimes Investigation Bureau" has been established in Zonguldak.

According to the information received, the bureau, which was formed within the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, will conduct investigations related to mining and mining-related activities in the city.

With the investigation bureau, which will carry out work focused on mining crimes, it is aimed for public prosecutors and law enforcement units to reach evidence in a short time in a coordinated manner.

Through the work of the Mining Crimes Investigation Bureau, it is also aimed to conclude investigations within a reasonable time and to conduct more effective investigations into crimes such as deaths and injuries occurring in mines, the opening of unlicensed mines, and the transfer of ownership to conceal crimes.
