Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that judges O.S., S.A., B.Ö., E.Z., and B.Z., who were dismissed for FETÖ membership, along with police personnel Ü.B. and K.B., and several civilians, were caught while attempting to flee abroad on a boat named "W.B." off the coast of Marmaris, Muğla. The operation was carried out under the coordination of the Muğla Intelligence Branch Directorate and the Coast Guard South Aegean Group Command.

Yerlikaya provided the following information in his full social media post:
"Judges O.S., S.A., B.Ö., E.Z., and B.Z., who were dismissed for FETÖ membership, along with police personnel Ü.B. and K.B., were caught while attempting to flee abroad from Muğla on a boat named 'W.B.'
In the efforts conducted under the coordination of the Intelligence Presidency by the Muğla Intelligence Branch Directorate, the 'KISKAÇ-28' operation was organized against individuals who were dismissed from public service, whose prosecution files are at the appellate stage, and who were assessed to be attempting to leave the country illegally on a boat named 'W.B.' off the coast of the Marmaris district of Muğla.
As a result of the tracking efforts carried out by land and sea by the Muğla Intelligence Branch Directorate, upon observing that the boat named 'W.B.' was heading toward international waters, it was intercepted off the coast of Kadırga Bay in the Marmaris district of Muğla in coordination with the Coast Guard South Aegean Group Command. Inside the boat, the following individuals were apprehended and handed over to the officers of the Muğla Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch Directorate: judges O.S., S.A., B.Ö., E.Z., and B.Z., who were users of the organization's encrypted communication program 'Bylock' and were dismissed for the crime of 'Being a Member of an Armed Terrorist Organization'; police personnel Ü.B. and K.B.; civilians M.A., M.Y.E., M.G., and S.N.B.; and boat crew members M.Ü., D.Ç.O., E.T., and J.T.B."
