Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that 4.2 billion liras in Home Care Assistance for fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families have begun to be deposited into accounts this month.
Home care assistance payments provided by the Ministry of Family and Social Services have been initiated.
Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş made a written statement regarding the Home Care Assistance, noting that an average of 560 thousand people benefit from the Home Care Assistance monthly and that a payment of 7 thousand 608 liras is made to each eligible recipient per month.
Reminding that they made 116.2 billion liras in Home Care Assistance payments in 2023, Göktaş stated the following:
"With the new regulation, we have started to deposit Home Care Assistance payments into the accounts of eligible recipients with an increase. In this context, we have made 4.2 billion liras in Home Care Assistance payments this month to the relatives providing care at home for 558 thousand fully dependent citizens who benefit from the Home Care Assistance. I wish these payments to be beneficial to all our disabled citizens."
