Minister Fidan holds phone call with his Russian counterpart
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.

According to information obtained from Ministry of Foreign Affairs sources, the phone call between Minister Fidan and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov addressed efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the meeting held in Alaska by the presidents of the US and Russia within this framework. Minister Fidan stated that it is hoped the process initiated in Alaska will reach a lasting peace with the participation of Ukraine, and that Turkey is ready to provide its necessary contribution.
