Minister Göktaş: Applications for citizens not considered disabled in counter-terrorism efforts begin on September 1

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated, "Within the scope of our new law, applications for our citizens who were injured in counter-terrorism efforts but are not considered disabled will begin on September 1, 2026."

Minister Göktaş, in a statement on her social media account, said, "Within the scope of our new law, which was accepted and enacted by our Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), applications for our citizens who were injured in counter-terrorism efforts but are not considered disabled will begin on September 1, 2026. Applications can be made via the e-Government (e-Devlet) portal by typing '3713 Sayılı Kanun Kapsamında Terörle Mücadelede Yaralanıp Malul Sayılmayanlara İlişkin' (Regarding those injured in counter-terrorism efforts under Law No. 3713 who are not considered disabled) into the search section. Military personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), the Gendarmerie General Command, and the Coast Guard Command, including non-commissioned officers and privates, National Intelligence Organization (MİT) personnel, Security Services Class personnel of the General Directorate of Security, and our security guards will be able to apply. Applications will be made to the institutions they were members of at the time of the incident. We will continue to stand by our heroes who made sacrifices for our homeland and to provide solutions to their needs."
