Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş's protection team member, police officer Musa Erdem (34), was martyred in a traffic accident while on duty in Ankara.
MINISTER GÖKTAŞ ANNOUNCED
Minister Göktaş stated in a post on her social media account, "Our hearts are broken by the martyrdom of our valued colleague and brother, police officer Musa Erdem, who served on our close protection team, following a tragic traffic accident while on duty."
Göktaş added the following:
"I pray for God's mercy upon our martyr, and I extend my condolences and patience to his precious family and all my colleagues. May his place be heaven and his rank be high. It is our duty to honor his cherished memory and look after his family, who are entrusted to us. May we have the strength to endure this loss."
