In a post on his social media account, Minister Gürlek stated, "We held a productive meeting with Greek Minister of Justice Georgios Floridis via video conference to evaluate our cooperation in the field of justice.
We discussed issues including judicial assistance, the fight against transnational organized crime, and the extradition of criminals.
We emphasized the importance of strong and uninterrupted judicial cooperation between our countries in the effective fight against criminal organizations that have international connections and structures in different countries.
We expressed our determination to bring criminals to justice, no matter where they flee.
We requested the extradition of various criminal organization leaders located in Greece to our country.
We will continue the dialogue between our ministries on the basis of mutual trust and will take our judicial cooperation further with concrete and permanent steps."
