Minister Gürlek: We continue our struggle against FETÖ and all centers of tutelage with determination

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek shared a post on his social media account to mark the 10th anniversary of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Stating that the armed coup attempt by members of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) against the nation's will, democracy, and independence on the night of July 15, 2016, was thwarted by the resistance put forth by the nation at the cost of their lives, Gürlek expressed that the epic struggle of the nation, which responded without hesitation to the historic call made by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with his brave and decisive leadership, changed the course of history.
Emphasizing that the nation showed all centers of treason that night that sovereignty belongs unconditionally to the people, that it recognizes no power above the national will, and that it will never compromise its independence, Gürlek included the following statements in his post:
"On the 10th anniversary of July 15; we continue our struggle against FETÖ, which targeted our country's future by infiltrating our state institutions, and against all centers of tutelage, with the same resolve and determination, without compromising the rule of law."
Stating that under the leadership of President Erdoğan, they will continue to strengthen national unity and solidarity, further consolidate democracy, and protect the legacy of the martyrs in line with the goals of the Century of Turkey, Gürlek expressed that he commemorates those who were martyred for their homeland, flag, national will, and democracy on the night of July 15 with mercy and gratitude, and offered his thanks to the veterans.
