The AKP announced that throughout the month of Ramadan, as part of the "My New Home, My First Iftar Programs," they would visit citizens affected by the February 6 earthquakes in the homes they have received and be guests at their iftar tables.
In this context, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan visited the Yıldırım family in Elazığ. Sharing this visit on his social media account, Minister Işıkhan said, "We shared the blessings of Ramadan at the iftar table of the Yıldırım family in Elazığ. Under the leadership of our President, we will continue to stand by every one of our brothers and sisters affected by the earthquake with all our strength and resources. I thank the Yıldırım family for their hospitality and pray to the Almighty for abundant and blessed sustenance."
The photos shared by Minister Işıkhan revealed that the family visits were conducted with a billboard featuring Erdoğan's photograph and signature, bearing the slogan "Our intention is one, our path is one, our faith is one."
While the aforementioned board was placed in the place of honor in the house, Minister Işıkhan and his accompanying delegation had iftar with the earthquake survivor family on a floor-level dining mat.
