Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır has announced a housing project for workers employed in organized industrial zones. Within the scope of the project, which will begin in Manisa in the first phase, workers will be provided with modern housing for a symbolic fee equal to one-third of the rental cost.

In his statement, Minister Kacır included the following remarks:

“We are enabling the creation of modern living spaces for our workers. With this new model we have developed, we will build a holistic living space that will meet the social and cultural needs of our employees and their families, alongside basic requirements such as housing and transportation, with social facilities, sports complexes, playgrounds, education, and daycare opportunities.”

Manisa OIZ Chairman of the Board Sait Türek stated, “We promise that we will work with all our might to build your future as the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone, not just as a simple housing project.”

When the project is completed:

Housing and transportation problems will be minimized

Social and cultural life will be supported

The rental burden will be eased

Manisa's industry will gain new momentum in development

Manisa Governor Vahdettin Özkan also described the project as 'part of industrial strategies that are environmentally friendly and suitable for digitalization.'

The housing units will be built in harmony with the city's architectural texture.
