Minister Koca announces: Prof. Dr. Sezer Hatemi has passed away

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared the following statement: I have learned with sadness of the passing of Prof. Dr. Sezer Hatemi, one of my professors during my residency.

I wish God's mercy upon her, and extend my condolences to her loved ones, our medical community, and especially her husband, Prof. Dr. Hüsrev Hatemi, and her relatives.

Prof. Sezer, a specialist in Child Health and Diseases, was the founder of the Pediatric Endocrinology Department at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.

Her students will always remember her with respect.
