"We have lost our precious teacher Fatma Nur Çelik as a result of a heinous attack that took place at one of our high schools in Çekmeköy, Istanbul.

It is not easy to describe the pain of a teacher who was taken from life while on duty, among her students.

Our teachers are the most precious trustees who raise the future of this nation.

The departure of an educator, who enters the classroom to touch a child's mind and give direction to a young person's life, through such an attack has deeply shaken us all.

This loss is the common pain and sorrow of our education community and our country.

I wish for God's mercy upon our teacher Fatma Nur; I wish patience for her family, loved ones, students, and colleagues.

I wish a speedy recovery to our wounded student and teacher.

Condolences to our education family and our dear nation."
