Making a statement regarding the current agenda of trustees and arrests, Tunç used the following expressions in his post:

It is never acceptable for the Chief Public Prosecutor of Istanbul and members of the judiciary to be targeted, threatened, and subjected to attempts to influence them regarding the ongoing judicial investigation into the Mayor of Esenyurt.

The Republic of Türkiye is a state of law. It is neither anyone's right nor place to threaten the judiciary.

According to Article 138 of our Constitution;

Judges are independent in the exercise of their functions. No organ, authority, office, or person may give orders or instructions to courts or judges regarding the exercise of judicial power.

Until an initiated investigation or prosecution is concluded with a final judgment, attempting to influence a fair trial by making public oral or written statements for the purpose of influencing prosecutors, judges, and courts is incompatible with a state of law.

Such ugly rhetoric and behavior, which mean interference with the independent judiciary, can never be protected in a state of law.
