Minister Tunç's statement on the Grand Kartal Hotel fire indictment: Independent and impartial judiciary
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, regarding the indictment prepared for the Grand Kartal Hotel fire in Bolu Kartalkaya, stated: "No one should have any doubt that those responsible for this tragic event, which caused the loss of 78 of our lives, will receive the punishments they deserve, and that the independent and impartial judiciary will fully serve justice."

Minister Tunç announced in a statement on his social media account that the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has prepared an indictment against 32 suspects, 19 of whom are under arrest, regarding the hotel fire in Bolu Kartalkaya that claimed the lives of 78 citizens.
Tunç stated that those indicted include hotel managers, municipal and provincial administration officials, technical personnel, inspection staff, and representatives of the relevant companies, and that investigation permits have also been requested for public officials deemed responsible in the expert report.
Emphasizing that every stage of the investigation has been conducted with great care and sensitivity, Tunç stated that the trial process will also be carried out meticulously once the indictment is evaluated by the court.
