Minister Tunç makes statement regarding the February 6 terror attack at the Istanbul Courthouse: 'We are following it'
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made statements regarding the armed attack carried out by DHKP-C members on the police checkpoint in front of Gate C of the Istanbul Courthouse on February 6.

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç stated that they are following the process regarding the attack carried out against the police checkpoint at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
Tunç spoke at the Commemoration Ceremony for Public Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz, who lost his life in an attack at the Istanbul Courthouse 9 years ago on March 31, 2015.
In his speech, Tunç expressed his condolences for Mehmet Selim Kiraz and said, "We always remember our martyred prosecutor with gratitude as an honest and moral son of the homeland who did his duty properly and worked for the manifestation of justice."

Speaking about the armed attack carried out by DHKP-C members Emrah Yayla and Pınar Birkoç on the police checkpoint at Gate C of the Istanbul Courthouse on February 6, Tunç said, "Just recently, on February 6, they tried this once again in this courthouse. That vile attempt was prevented from turning into a disaster as a result of the heroism of our police officers. We were here that day. We condemned the attack attempt against our justice personnel and our courthouse in the strongest terms, and we have followed and are continuing to follow the subsequent process."
