Minister Uraloğlu, who came to Yalova to attend a series of programs, was a guest of Yalova Mayor Mustafa Tutuk following his visit to the governor's office.

Appearing before the cameras after the visit, Minister Uraloğlu made a statement regarding the Yalova-Armutlu highway, which was tendered in 1998 during the term of the late Prime Minister Mesut Yılmaz.

Touching upon the road, which has turned into a never-ending saga as it could not be completed despite 4 presidents, 6 prime ministers, and 13 governments passing, Minister Uraloğlu said, "We have a project that we have not been able to complete at the speed we wanted."

"WE HAD SOME DIFFICULTIES IN THE PAST"

Providing information about the road, for which the problem could not be solved during his long tenure as General Director of Highways, Minister Uraloğlu said, "The Çınarcık-Armutlu road. We have completed 35 kilometers of the 45-kilometer road.

We had some difficulties in the past. We have now taken it under very close follow-up. We need to hold a completion tender.

Hopefully, we will hold that completion tender next month. After that, we will hopefully remove it from the agenda of Yalova, Çınarcık, and Armutlu.

In our future visits, we will all see together how quickly this place is progressing," he said.
