Minister Uraloğlu: No social media ban for those under 16

Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that there is no such work underway regarding a 'social media ban for those under 16'—a topic that has been on the agenda for a long time and which he had previously announced in a television program that they were working on—and that children will be able to use social media under parental control.

Uraloğlu said, "The need to make legal regulations to protect our children under 16 from the harms of social media and online games and to prevent the spread of such content has now become mandatory."
