Minister Yerlikaya announced: 420 organized crime gangs dismantled in 2023

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced via X that 420 organized crime gangs, 11 of which were international, were dismantled within the scope of the 2023 "Kafes" operations.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"Between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023: Within the scope of the 'KAFES' operations organized against ORGANIZED CRIME GROUPS; a total of 420 organized crime gangs were dismantled, including 11 international, 14 national, 56 regional, and 339 local ones."
