Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his official X account that 15 suspects were apprehended as part of an operation conducted against ISIS in Ankara.

"15 FOREIGN NATIONAL SUSPECTS APPREHENDED"

Minister Yerlikaya's statement is as follows:

“15 foreign national suspects were apprehended in the ‘KAHRAMANLAR-48’ (HEROES-48) operation carried out against the DAESH Terror Organization in Ankara. We will not give any quarter to terrorists for the peace, unity, and solidarity of our noble nation. We will continue our fight without pause through the superior efforts of our security forces. Within the scope of the work carried out by the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch; 15 foreign national suspects, who were determined to have been active within the DAESH Armed Terror Organization in the past, were apprehended. I congratulate our Heroic Police officers who carried out the operations. May God protect them. We are conducting operations 365 days a year, in all 4 seasons, 12 months, day and night. Our fight against terrorism will continue with determination until the last terrorist is neutralized.”
