Minister Yerlikaya: No loss of life in Osmaniye creek overflow
A flood disaster occurred in Osmaniye due to heavy rainfall. Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated that while some houses were flooded and 8 vehicles were swept away into the creek bed due to the overflow, there was no loss of life in the disaster.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made a statement regarding the flood that occurred yesterday evening in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye as a result of heavy rainfall.
Minister Yerlikaya said, "Yesterday evening, due to heavy rainfall in the Kadirli district of our Osmaniye province, a creek bed overflowed, the ground floors of some houses were flooded, and 8 vehicles were swept away into the creek bed.
In the incident area, work is continuing with a total of 310 personnel and 72 vehicles from AFAD, the Fire Department, the Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and other institutions.
All of the vehicles swept into the creek bed have been found. Damage assessment studies are ongoing. 90 reports have been received regarding the flooding in question.
Thank God, there are no casualties or injuries.
