Minister Yerlikaya shares 10-month balance sheet: How many organized crime groups were dismantled?

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the details of the Mahzen-32 operations on X. Yerlikaya also shared the number of criminal organizations dismantled within the 10-month period.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on X that the organized crime group led by Hakkı Saral (brother of Ümit Saral, who is currently in prison) was dismantled in operations centered in Bursa and spanning 7 provinces as part of the Mahzen-32 operations.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"In the operations, 24 suspects, including the ringleader, were apprehended!

Within the 10-month period;

WE DISMANTLED 454 ORGANIZED CRIME GROUPS. WE HAVE SHARED THESE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS WITH THE PUBLIC BY NAME.

We conducted a total of

1,201 OPERATIONS against Organized Crime Groups.

8,260 suspects were apprehended. Of these;

3,058 were arrested.

Judicial control decisions were issued for 1,740 of them."
