Minister Yerlikaya shares 2023 statistics: Thousands of terrorists captured

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the operations conducted in 2023 via X.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared a summary of the operations conducted between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023, via his X account.

In his statement, Yerlikaya said: "In 2023, operations were and continue to be carried out by our units affiliated with the Gendarmerie General Command, the General Directorate of Security, and the Coast Guard Command against all terrorist organizations, primarily the BTÖ, FETÖ, DAESH, and Leftist Terrorist Organizations." Yerlikaya continued his words as follows:

"Between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023:

Against the BTÖ (Separatist Terrorist Organization):

3,911 urban and 19,682 rural operations were conducted.

In these operations:

923 terrorists were neutralized.

7,716 suspects were detained,

1,555 were arrested,

1,683 were placed under judicial control.

Against FETÖ:

6,775 operations were conducted.

9,639 suspects were detained,

1,689 were arrested,

1,677 were placed under judicial control.

Against the DAESH Terrorist Organization:

1,500 operations were conducted.

2,800 were detained,

738 were arrested,

650 were placed under judicial control.

Against leftist terrorist organizations:

358 operations were conducted.

11 terrorists were neutralized.

737 suspects were detained,

97 were arrested,

207 were placed under judicial control.

Of all these traitors neutralized:

8 were in the Red,

1 in the Blue,

2 in the Green,

16 in the Orange,

37 in the Gray Category,

Totaling 64 so-called HIGH-LEVEL terrorists.

Furthermore, during this period, thank God,

163 acts were prevented,

124 of which were bombing attempts."
