Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced on X that the General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an orange alert for 2 provinces and a yellow alert for 14 provinces for Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared the warnings issued by the Meteorology department on social media.
Yerlikaya stated the following:
"Our General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an Orange Alert for 2 provinces and a Yellow Alert for 14 provinces for Tuesday, March 5, 2024, due to extreme rainfall and strong storms. Our provinces with an Orange Alert are: Muğla, Antalya
Our provinces with a Yellow Alert are: Aydın, Balıkesir, İzmir, Manisa, Denizli, Uşak, Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Burdur, Isparta, Eskişehir, Ankara, Konya, and Karaman.
It is of great importance that our citizens do not let their guard down against any negative consequences that may arise due to extreme rainfall and storms.
Our 112 Emergency Call Center will be on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
May God protect our country and our nation from all kinds of disasters."
