Minister Yerlikaya: There is no longer a Turkey that is manipulated by terrorism or whose economy is collapsed by sanctions

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya attended the AKP Marmaris 8th Ordinary District Congress as part of his visit to Muğla. In his statement, Minister Yerlikaya said, "During our cabinet's term, we have dismantled 752 organized crime groups. We have seized assets worth 106 billion liras. We have conducted 55,254 operations against terrorism in rural and urban areas and neutralized 1,324 terrorists."

"WE HAVE STARTED A MARCH FOR THE PROSPERITY OF OUR COUNTRY"

Reminding that the AKP set out on August 14, 2001, with the principles of democracy and justice, Minister Yerlikaya said, "We have started a great march for the prosperity, peace, and future of our country. This cause is a cause of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood. It is a cause of standing by the poor, the needy, the student, the worker, and the wisdom of Anatolia. Thank God, we are walking one step further every day toward a great and powerful Turkey. There is no longer a Turkey that only calculates for tomorrow. We possess a vision of a Turkey that is building the century of independence, future, and stability," he said.

"WE ARE NOT A COUNTRY BROUGHT TO ITS KNEES"

Emphasizing that Turkey is no longer a country brought to heel by coups or forced to its knees by terrorism, Yerlikaya stated, "There is a great and powerful Turkey that can extract its own energy resources and produce its own domestic and national automobiles, helicopters, fighter jets, UAVs, and UCAVs. The place where this cause rises is the shoulders of our nation. We are building the Century of Turkey. The Century of Turkey is the legacy of carrying the light of civilization from the past to new horizons, and the legacy of the heroism stories written in every corner of Anatolia and the sacrifices made for freedom and independence," he said.

Minister Yerlikaya stated that there are no longer any concessions made to terrorist organizations, organized crime groups, and criminal hubs, adding, "We will not show tolerance to any structure that tries to disrupt the peace of our country. Let no one use democracy as a shield for their betrayals and uprisings. We will not show mercy to any structure that does not show mercy to humanity," he said.

"CRIME RATES HAVE DECREASED IN THE COUNTRY"

Minister Yerlikaya stated that compared to the same period last year, there has been a decrease of approximately 24,000 incidents in crimes committed against individuals across Turkey in the first 10 months of this year, and that the clearance rate for these incidents has risen to 98 percent, saying, "In crimes against property, 73,000 fewer incidents occurred compared to the same period last year. Reductions of 60.4 percent, 59.3 percent, 54.9 percent, and 46.6 percent were achieved in theft from vehicles, snatch theft, pickpocketing, and burglary, respectively," he said.

Minister Yerlikaya said that as the Ministry of Interior, they work day and night to ensure security and peace, and that they are waging a serious fight against organized crime groups and terrorists in line with this goal. "During our cabinet's term, we have dismantled 752 organized crime groups and seized assets worth 106 billion liras. Stating that Turkey has drawn strength from brotherhood, solidarity, and unity throughout history, Minister Yerlikaya said, "Whether we are Turkish, Kurdish, Arab, Circassian, Alevi, or Sunni, we may have different languages and cultures; but we are a great and powerful nation united under a single flag. Let no one pose a threat to this spirit of unity and solidarity, because our state has an iron fist against it," he expressed.

Emphasizing that Turkey will continue on its path with the determination to reach great goals, Minister Yerlikaya stated that they will continue to fight together to build the Century of Turkey under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying, "I am honored to walk shoulder to shoulder and heart to heart with the people of Marmaris. We will work tirelessly to leave a more beautiful Turkey to our children. As our President said, 'We will be one, we will be big, we will be alive. We will be together, we will be brothers. We will all be Turkey together.' Your faith in Turkey's tomorrow gives us strength. May God make our unity and solidarity permanent. May the future of our Turkey be bright," he said.
