Stern statement from Minister Yerlikaya: Whoever tries to hinder our struggle...

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya included harsh expressions in a statement he made via his social media account X.

Yerlikaya stated, "Whoever is colluding with terrorist organizations and their extensions, and organized crime groups, and trying to 'set up a game' supported by social media against our President, our government, and our politicians using FETO tactics; we will demolish their games and the traps they have set."

Minister Yerlikaya, referring to the suspension of police chiefs in the 'Ayhan Bora Kaplan' investigation, said, "Whichever institution has a structure directed against our President, our government, and our politicians, we will go to the end, identify those structures, and deliver them to justice."

CRITICAL SUMMIT AT THE PALACE

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had summoned MIT President İbrahim Kalın and Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç to the Palace for a meeting.

It was alleged that the 3 high-level police chiefs, who were suspended from duty and detained today following searches of their homes as part of the Ayhan Bora Kaplan case, had attempted an initiative similar to the December 17-25 operations.

Following these allegations, Erdoğan met with the MIT President and the Minister of Justice at the Palace. The absence of Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya at the meeting drew attention.

While the answer to the question of why Erdoğan summoned the MIT President and the Minister of Justice became a matter of public curiosity, it was claimed that the Ayhan Bora Kaplan case was on the agenda of the meeting.
