Minister Yumaklı issues warning with specific date
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı made statements regarding forest fires at an event he attended. Yumaklı reiterated his warning against lighting fires outside of designated areas and provided a specific date.

In his statement, Yumaklı said the following:
A cigarette butt, a fire lit on the side of the road, fire remnants left uncontrolled when we go for a picnic, and many other issues unfortunately require our attention in this regard.
Therefore, I specifically urge all our citizens not to light any fires or engage in any activities that could cause a fire outside of enclosed areas until October 15, 2025.
This could be a spark from a welding machine or something else. If we show this care, we will both protect our country's resources and eliminate the environment that would destroy the existence of those innocent creatures that inhabit our green homeland."
