"Despite the strong winds, the fight against the fires has been ongoing for 3 days. 3 aircraft and 15 helicopters are operating in Yamanlar, İzmir.
3 new fires occurred during the day. Efforts to combat 8 active fires are ongoing, and the intensity of 4 of them has decreased.
It has been determined that the fire in Menderes, İzmir, was caused by a power transmission line.
The firefighting aircraft sent by Azerbaijan will have landed at Adnan Menderes Airport as of 23:00. No fires should be lit under any circumstances outside of enclosed areas."
