Ministry announces: Home care payments have been deposited into accounts!
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that a total of 4.8 billion liras has been deposited this month for 544 thousand citizens receiving home care assistance.

In a written statement, Göktaş recalled that the home care assistance program, one of the Ministry's family-oriented care service models, was launched in 2006 with the idea of primarily supporting disabled individuals within their families.

Stating that they prioritize the family integrity of disabled citizens, Göktaş said, "With home care assistance, we support the preservation and strengthening of family unity by allowing disabled individuals to live with their families or relatives without leaving their environment."
Göktaş stated that a monthly payment of 9 thousand 77 liras is made per beneficiary under the home care assistance program and noted the following:

"We have deposited a total of 4.8 billion liras in home care assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families. Currently, 544 thousand of our citizens are benefiting from home care assistance.
Within the framework of our Century of Turkey vision, as a Ministry, we will continue our efforts to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability is sustainable with a transparent approach.
I wish the payments to be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families."
