The Ministry requested that various infrastructure components, ranging from fire installations and elevators to generators and fire detection systems, be checked immediately.
The Ministry emphasized that these inspections are of great importance for the safety of life and property and instructed provincial directorates to address any deficiencies quickly.
'URGENT' MARKED ANNOUNCEMENT
According to a report by İsmail Arı from BirGün, the Ministry of Youth and Sports' announcement marked "urgent" emphasized that many infrastructure components in all ministry-affiliated facilities, from fire installations to elevators, and from generators to fire detection systems, must be inspected immediately. The letter, signed by General Manager Prof. Dr. Süleyman Şahin, stated that emergency measures and periodic maintenance are of great importance.
The announcement stated that "buildings and facilities within the Ministry must carry out their operations in accordance with current legislation and take necessary precautions for the safety of life and property," and instructed all provincial directorates to conduct the necessary checks and rectify any deficiencies immediately.
