Ministry of Health announces Eid al-Adha measures
To ensure uninterrupted emergency health services throughout Eid al-Adha, 3,457 ambulances and 19,593 emergency health personnel will be on duty, with helicopter ambulances and the National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE) also standing by at certain locations.

According to a written statement from the Ministry of Health, a series of measures have been taken to ensure that emergency health services continue uninterrupted across the country during Eid al-Adha.
As part of the measures effective from today, 3,457 ambulances and 19,593 emergency health service personnel will be on duty every day. Additionally, 175 UMKE vehicles and 875 UMKE personnel will actively provide services during this period.
Furthermore, additional teams have been formed to respond quickly to potential traffic accidents in major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.
COMPREHENSIVE MEASURES IN ISTANBUL
Within the scope of the measures, a helicopter ambulance, an emergency aid ambulance, a UMKE vehicle, and a UMKE ATAK vehicle, along with 9 health personnel, will be stationed at the Northern Marmara Motorway-Tuzla Akfırat location on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul.
Emergency aid ambulances and a total of 9 personnel have been assigned to three points: the Tuzla Bridge, in front of the Tuzla Mehmetçik Foundation, and the Istanbul Park rest facilities.
On the European Side, 3 precaution points have been designated on the Tüyap Büyükçekmece E5, at the TEM Motorway Silivri Metro facilities, and at the Çatalca State Road junction at the Tekirdağ-Istanbul provincial border. At these points, 1 emergency aid ambulance and 2 UMKE vehicles, along with 13 personnel, will be on duty.
HELICOPTER AMBULANCES ALSO DEPLOYED IN IZMIR AND ANKARA
In Izmir, a helicopter ambulance, a UMKE vehicle, an emergency aid ambulance, and a motorcycle ambulance will be on duty in the districts of Çeşme, Urla, Karaburun, Seferihisar, and Güzelbahçe, as well as on the highways and road junctions providing access to these regions. 11 health personnel will serve in this area.
In the Bornova district, 7 health personnel will be on duty next to the highway with 1 emergency aid ambulance, 1 UMKE vehicle, and 1 motorcycle ambulance. At the northern entrance of Izmir in the Menemen district, 4 health personnel will serve with 1 emergency aid ambulance and 1 motorcycle ambulance.
In Ankara, a helicopter ambulance will be deployed along with 1 UMKE vehicle and an emergency aid ambulance each on the Kulu road, Eskişehir road, and Kırıkkale road, with 2 motorcycle ambulances and a total of 25 health personnel on duty.
Ministry of Health officials stated that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the public can access health services quickly and effectively throughout Eid al-Adha, and that citizens can call 112 in case of emergencies.
