The Ministry of Interior stated in a post on its social media account, "Claims have appeared on some social media accounts that governors will be appointed instead of district governors in 30 metropolitan districts, starting with Istanbul, and that the 'Ministry of Interior is working on this matter quietly.'

The claims in question are a product of imagination.
