Ministry of Interior launches investigation into ABB concerts

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into concerts organized by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality following reports.
Taking the reports into account, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office wrote a memorandum to the Ministry of Interior's Inspection Board in accordance with the Law on the Prosecution of Civil Servants.
The memorandum requested an investigation into the matter. It was requested that the situation be reported to the Prosecutor's Office if any elements of a crime are found and suspects are identified.
The Prosecutor's Office also decided to send the received complaint petitions to the Ministry of Interior for detailed examination.
Upon the request of the Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Interior's Inspection Board will examine the allegations regarding the ABB concerts through inspectors and prepare a report. The investigation by the Prosecutor's Office will be shaped in line with this report.

ABB Mayor Yavaş made a statement regarding the investigation on his social media account:
On November 11, the day I made a statement to the press regarding the matter, 2 civil inspectors were sent by the Ministry of Interior to examine the issue. This examination is still ongoing. There is no new situation.
No one is more accountable than we are. We stand by our word; if anyone has committed a crime, they will face the consequences. We expect the same behavior from all public institutions and municipalities.
