In a statement made on the ministry's social media account, it was stated, "Our 4 helicopters conducted 62 sorties to effectively intervene from the air in the forest fire that occurred in the Aliağa district of İzmir.
Efforts from the ground and air to bring the fire under control are continuing without interruption."
