The statement included the following:
"We continue to respond strongly to the terrorists' attempts to attack. Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces have neutralized 4 PKK/YPG terrorists who attempted to attack in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria to disrupt the environment of peace and security."
