Ministry of National Defense announces: 1 soldier martyred

The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has announced that Infantry Lieutenant Eril Alperen Emir was martyred in an attack carried out by PKK members in the Operation Claw-Lock region.

The statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense included the following:

"In the Operation Claw-Lock region, our heroic comrade-in-arms, Infantry Lieutenant Eril Alperen EMİR, was martyred in an attack carried out by members of the separatist terrorist organization.

We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."
