The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced in a statement that Infantry Specialist Sergeant Samet Aslan, who was serving in the Pençe-Kilit operation zone, was martyred as a result of an attack by the separatist terrorist organization.
The statement read, "Our heroic comrade-in-arms was martyred on January 11, 2024. On behalf of myself and the members of the Ministry of National Defense, I wish God's mercy upon our heroic martyr; I extend my condolences and patience to our grieving and noble nation."
