Ministry of National Defense announces: 18 individuals attempting to infiltrate from Syria captured
According to a statement made by the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) via its X account, 18 individuals attempting to enter the country illegally from Syria have been captured. Investigations revealed that 2 of the individuals were members of terrorist organizations, with 1 belonging to ISIS and 1 to the PKK.

The Ministry of National Defense announced in a statement on X that 18 individuals attempting to infiltrate the country illegally from Syria have been captured.
The statement from the MSB is as follows:
"Our fight against illegal border crossings continues. Our Border Eagles have captured 18 individuals attempting to enter our country from Syria through illegal means. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that 1 of the captured individuals was a member of the DAESH terrorist organization, and 1 was a member of the PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG terrorist organization."
